The Color Run

Finally a run you can enjoy in the summer! I found this run on one of my many Google searches.  I always find the best items and ideas when I least expect it. As soon as it caught my eye I knew I had to do it!  I loved it because of the mystery of the dust.  I have never seen this colorful powder.  Who ever made this colored chalky powder is a genius.  It's kind of ironic how I found this since my family's word for this year is color.  Now everything I see seems brighter and better.
I cant wait to run it this weekend!

Through the Looking Glass...

One girl can discover a whole new world through a camera, or a looking glass.

My Blog is a Canvas...

“My blog is a canvas to my thoughts.
It is my very own art museum,
showing the world what I have.
It is memories and ideas that others can relate to and cherish.
I have notebooks scattered around my room,
page after page filled with my mind’s undiscovered words.
My blog is a new page to my notebook.”

The leaves will change and turn to gold
and the days will  pass
but I will always remember
the smiles and journeys we take.

Last Day of Summer Vacation

We tear and cut magazines until all that remains is scraps of ripped pictures.  With a little bit of glue and magic...

the view from my castle...

"If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them."
-Henry David Thoreau
we all have a castle in life.
it may be your house, your dream home, a playhouse, your favorite climbing tree, or anywhere with a view.
 make your castles stable.
and remember every castle needs a Queen.
in this case it's a Queen Bee.
